No Reunions planned at present due to refurbishment of the Whitechapel School

Whitechapel Reunion 2004

Sixty seven former pupils and teachers attended the 2004 Whitechapel Reunion on Thursday 29th April. Four former teachers attended: Gwyn Williams ( Physics ), John Fyson ( Maths ),       David Newton ( Chemistry ) and Norman Page ( P.E ).                       Christine Baker ( School Governor ) gave a welcoming speech and then handed over to myself ( Geoff Clark ) to update the boys on current events.

 Refreshments were provided by the PTA ( see photo below ) to which we give our thanks.

I would like some identification of the photos as there were too many of you to remember everyone's name.

Whitechapel Reunion 2003

About 45 former pupils and teachers attended the 2003 Whitechapel Reunion. The oldest former pupil to attend was Mr. Jack Rutstein who left the school in 1935. Four former teachers attended:  Mr. Williams ( Whitechapel and Debden ),  Mr. Fyson          ( Whitechapel and Debden )  Mr. Newton ( left Whitechapel in '64 before the move ) and Mr. Bates who taught at Debden. Mr Seward  ( the current Head ) gave a short welcoming speech.

My thanks go out to everybody that came and to Pam and Gillian from the PTA for providing the refreshments and to Christine Baker for helping with the arrangements.
