Davenant
was founded in 1680 by Revd. Ralph
Davenant.
The school was based in Whitechapel until 1965 so there are many of us who
still have vivid memories of that era.............

1960's
- The
glass-sided "temporary" classrooms.

milk table under the arches.
- Swimming
lessons at Aldgate Baths.
- Mr.
Newton and his Squeegee bottles.

Mock Trial of Bob Tyler.

Names--Carter(yellow), Owen(green),
Warren(red) and Wise(blue).
